seattle is 'like' the worst place in the country politically.

usually, from liberals you'd expect lots of sex clubs ('titty bars'). in seattle they're so repressed that they close all of those down, yet they're also welfare statists to the core.

politically, these people have no redeeming values.

Star,

Moved here from Florida 6 yrs ago (Port Orchard across the sound from you).
My first surprise was going to the courthouse to get a tag. When the girl said $387.00, I started laughing and told her I didn't want a 10 yr tag. Boy, she wiped that smile off my face in a hurry!!

I was a general contractor in Florida for 22 yrs so I thought I'd take the test out here and get licensed to do a little work to keep in shape. NO TEST, just give them $45, get insured. But the paper work and tax on labor? Forget it. WA is definetly an employee friendly state. Maybe BA should've hired more temp workers like MSFT ;-)

But still, I have never met nicer people, except in BC. And compared to south FL, WA's mountains and trees still knocks out this flat-land-FL-boy.

Regards,
Bill/WA
ps: if you ever have to go to south FL and have to drive - first go to the Richard Petty driving school and get weapons training.
