Watson, Do you really think AMD is dumb enough to tie a brand new design to a new process technology? AMD's management has been quite conservative under Dirk. I'm saying P4 could reach 2.7GHz in .13um. No problem. They keep P4 at 1.5GHz because they love losing market share to AMD, but they could actually release a 2GHz CPU any day they want to. They are just toying with AMD and keep them around for antitrust reasons. Barrett is actually a management genius, and INTC will soon trade over $100. Scumbria

"They should have .13um Hammer first silicon by now " If they taped out in December as planned, I would say that they do. Of course, maybe they are sitting on the tape for some reason...
