tipster, ca is looking at bumping already horribly expensive rates another 40% to "encourage consumption." why does "encourage consumption" feel so much like financial rape? i get this feeling they are peeing on my leg and telling me it's raining.

tax cut? seems like my tax cut - which i haven't even gotten - is already spent. and then some. glad my dough is going to bush's cronies so i can have a warm feeling my arse... errrr, heart. ;-)

btw, i heard on the radio housing sales are falling off a cliff in california - down 10-15%.
