Ken, You're nit picking with my words. ;-) I meant that the commercials have been short for about a year now expecting/leading (however you want to phrase it) that the market would go down. It doesn't surprise me one bit that on a week when the DOW tanks they pull some money off the table. As far as July 1st, I made a bet way back at Naz 3K that the Naz would be between 1400-1800. If a lose the bet, my guess is because the Naz is below 1400. I think it's also far too early to draw any conclusions about the short term movements of the commercials. If the position keeps going down over the next 2-3 weeks, I'll pay more attention. For now, it could just be a wiggle. chic
