I'll look into it, I haven't shopped for them in a while and they've changed so rapidly any advice I could give would be old.

Are you looking for both still images and video with sound? Do you have a preference for media (smart media, CD, floppy, memory stick, PC card)? The stated pixels are sometimes deceptive because they all use compression and some of those compression schemes are butt ugly when you get the image onto your screen. I'll try to find a site that shows samples taken from different cameras of the same subject, this is the only way to judge them because pixel size doesn't mean dick. Whatever you do don't think you can get away from using rechargeable batteries unless you want to start going to Costco and buying batteries in the case lot! Usually they charge extra for the recharge units, that's why I mention it.
