All this talk about campaign finance reform and such. Talk-talk-talk-talk. Vote-vote-vote-vote. In the end, none of these votes may matter, because the U.S. Extreme Court likely will strike down campaign finance reform on the same 5-4 count by which they selected D-Dubya-I as the next president of the United States. Then Clarence "Uncle" Thomas and Sandra "Dee" O'Connor and Big Bill Rehnquist (who as a young man intimidated would-be voters in Arizona as a Republican political hack) will have supper with Rich Mitch McConnell and Trench-Mouth Lott and George Will and they'll all high-five each other over the fact that the Banana Republic-ans and Big Business can continue to distort the truth and buy elections. It's great to be an American these days.

Jimmy-Me-Boy: I have answered all of your questions in previous posts. Some several times. I am not going to waste my time rebutting ... or in your case, refuting ... each of your arguments point by point. I am growing very weary of this thread. It's becoming a struggle to check the board on a daily basis. Even the thread founder, Allen Wrench, is nowhere to be found on his own thread these days ... and for good reason. Actually, there is more intellectual stimulation here when Ish and Shootie talk about various types of handguns than when you and Zoltan the ex-frat boy and CJAC the ex-Bearcat in Grapes-of-Wrath Land try to analyze issues of importance. I feel like Goldilocks amidst the three boors. A good debate from time to time would serve to temper the nonstop bashing.
