...the internet i think will turn out to destroy more wealth in america as information/technology/software is outsourced to the lowest bidder...

Nonsense.

Outsourcing is a long term solution to the problems of unfocused vertically integrated businesses and overcapacity. Choosing the lowest overall cost quality supplier, foreign or domestic, for any noncore function is simple logic and contributes to an overall higher standard of living and a lower rate of price inflation even in the face of government monetary expansion. It is also the best method of increasing foreign standards of living and political and economic freedom. The idea that domestic jobs will be lost is overly simplistic. An economy that continually searches out the most efficient methods of production without governmental interference will almost always operate near full employment for willing and able workers. The loss of a particular job to an overseas location is no more, and actually less of a problem than if the entire plant moved across the country to a new state. In addition, the outsourcing of a given job function to a lower cost region will increase the job security of all the remaining workers in a company.
