van, sounds like you've seen the err of clowndom ways. you're heading in the right direction. these guys got millions to under perform the indexes. if you can't beat 'em, join 'em and so they did. of course, one, in theory, under performed the indexes b/c they took less risk. on the way up, they under performed. on the way down, they were more heavily into the index and lost more. buy high / sell low WORKS EVERY SINGLE TIME. like clockwork.
