back to crummy days today, only thing i bought was hpow today at $7, some kind of legislation press conference with joe lieberman tonight to give some kind of incentives to alternate energy sources, other than that, looks like lows are set up to retest tomorrow, may get buying opportunity on gap down tomorrow, would not want to hold long traders overnight, if we dont get any earnings warnings tonight, would help, cisco is looking like it is "sitting" on some bad news need to get that flushed out of the system

>>>.and Northern California median housing is just under $400K. There are plenty of bubbles in California that have yet to burst. But just watch how FAST all that can change. . . . especially when the power goes off.<<<

I just heard this a.m. that a "starter" house in the Silicon Valley area is $700K.

Rande,
Everyone knows I'm hardly a conservative, however I have to ask.
Does anyone believe the obsessive environmental mentality in California has precipitated these power problems?
I have learned that life is a trade, if they want available power, they may have to allow some rolling back some of environmental restrictions. At least that's how I see it.
Would be interested in your thoughts.
