That is precisely the reason to buy these "hated" stocks because it is only then that you really get a good price. Let's see - if you could buy a high growth stock trading at a litle more than forward 3X sales, growing just under 100%, and trading at a forward PE of 50 - would you? By the way, back in the early 90's, this was the profile for a pretty successful stock = CSCO.

At 3-4, it would have more cash than market value. Gee, that makes sense.
