Chic,
I agree with you that the Fed heads don't have a clue when they proclaim the economy is headed for recovery. They are so blinded by their pride that they are incapable of admitting to their fckups.knc

By the way, that's another reason I still like Chambers, even though I fired off a couple of nasty e-mails to CSCO IR yesterday. He is honest amongst a bastion of lying CEO's.

chic hearne writes---"People like yourself are the reason the economy and real estate market are about to take a nosedive. The "wealth effect" has been written about many times and soon the "reverse wealth effect" is going to be written about."

"people like yourself"? Do you think you know me? You do not know thing one about me. Sounds a little pre-judgemental to me. If you are talking about the average person finally getting a piece of the action in the market, then yes, I agree to an extent. The middle class works the hardest with a greater burden in taxes and the least rewards. With the advent of the cheap PC, the internet and online brokers the chance has finally come to those who would like to invest and reap the rewards of their own research. Mistakes will be made but so will fortunes be made. The market is the economy. The real problem is the accumulation of DEBT. We should be talking about DEBT.
