210 Clownbucks for an ounce of Gold? Sounds like a once in a lifetime deal to me.

Why would the US wish to sell gold at these levels, to buy yen and euros as reserves, and bankrupt the mining industry of a large part of the third world? I just read that gold is 20% of Peru's exports. Plus even small selling would knock a big chunk out of the reserves the US does have. I think at the tail end of these bears markets people start to believe just about anything and this is an example.
