I misunderstood your post, then.

Note that LU began it's decline far earlier than Cisco did. CSCO stayed high because a lot of the market mistakenly believed that CSCO was immune to an industry slowdown that was affecting both LU and NT. Thus, there were some expectations built into CSCO that had already been taken out of LU and NT. That makes the decline seem to be worse, when in reality there were a different set of expectations priced into CSCO.

Looking at peak to trough, to balance the expectations, CSCO has declined 80.8%, whiler LU has declined 87.3%. The peak for both stocks is pretty close to the same number, while you'd have to take another third out of CSCO currently to get to LU.
