Hello Tom,

There are two large cable providers in Canada, Rogers and Shaw. Recently they agreed to swap some assets, Rogers took over most of Shaw's assets in the East (Ontario, etc.) and Shaw took over most of Rogers' assets in the West (Vancouver, etc.)

Shaw provides cable TV and high-speed Internet access.
