Somewhat OT, but I think the TSC interview with Ravi Suria is an excellent read:

He makes the point that a lot of the GNP growth over the last few years has been investment driven, and the money for that has now dried up and is not likely to return any time soon.

You could well argue that a company like CRA is analogous. Of course the biotechs are largely unsaddled with debt, with the exception of some that went for convertibles instead of stock. A further point of differentiation is that the underlying biotech business model is generally sound.
