We seem to be cross-posting, #reply-15583259 Hmm, that premise never occurred to me. Broken parts and such. Had it, I might have just had the local Electronic Barn build it. elecbarn.com Close by, I used to buy 1K RAM for my machines there years ago. A regular junk shop; but the parts are good. However on the plus side my son has a lot of internet contacts. Virtually all computer gear-heads, they favor links like that one to get parts and such. Explorer Micro sent mine with a form telling me what to do if there is damage of any sort. Pretty much it just boils down to getting an RA and returning it. Cannot tell you much more than this, I'm afraid. If you are uncomfortable, then definitely go the route that you prefer.

WHEN I don't build my own, Esteban ...http://www.cyberpowersystem.com/ Frank, a former poster on this thread, and SE both purchased machines from them, as I had bot either 3 or 4 in the past .... matter of fact, this one I'm posting on is one of their boxes into which I'm installing a DVD to use with this new Gateway monitor I got yesterday ... at any rate ... CyberPower has done fine with me, and as far as I know, Scott and Frank are happy with their boxes, too... I've called tech a couple of times and response has been excellent ... and you get it lifetime, too .... I really like the 3 year warranty CP has .... and their prices are very good, too ..... oh yeah ... I don't get any monies for this post ...gggggg Nemer
