With what we know I agree. I believe (because of their unrivaled front end) that they will sucessfully leverage that investment over time, though, and that's where we differ.

"Amazon cannot support all those DCs" Did they have an alternative? I think they should have stayed out of running their own DC's -- but then I think they would still be faced with the same issue -- a failed business model and a crippled financial disadvantage due to the excessive cost of being the "first mover".
