<<Davis has been the master of delegation>>???
more like here chickee chickee puk puk puk ....
Davis was an infantry captain and learned really quick that captains do not do the "point" - that is reserved for some slob private or pfc. The captain is in the back with his radioman well out of range of the mortors and snipers.

His appointed three members of the PUC are generally called "canon fodder". :) :)

re: "While he publicly states that he's opposed to the latest move by the CPUC"

I think the governor said that one of the reasons he's opposed to the latest move, was that the CPUC didn't have all the numbers - Which he won't release because they are a State Secret. Honestly, IMHO if the numbers were released, my guess is that rates would have to go up much more than they are now.

Please remember, the total amount of electrical power produced in the state is like 75-80% of the amount the state produces. We'd be fine if we got rid of say, eight million people.

I'm wondering about this...does everyone know about the 1996 meeting between reps of So Cal Gas, SDG&E and EPG? This was not like having a meeting between interstate pipeline Co's like Williams and El Paso. Wasn't this a meeting between a supplier and its two largest customers? If your 2 largest customers tell you that - there is no need to increase your ability to supply them, shouldn't you listen to them? Or do you build pipeline like they are laying fiber - build it and they will burn it.
