gbh, re:Another Round of Telecom Profit Warnings Said
Likely
in the article you posted they said that "Other prime candidates include Alcatel, Lucent , Nokia, etc.
Let me ask you the questions.
Why did you posted this article?
I assume you decided that this is good probability it will happen, right?
Do you base you investment decision ( other then shorting stocks, I am still wondering why you do not participate in discussion in other time, only why everything is falling like a stone)
:Let me remind you that Nokia has already stated they numbers two weeks ago and at least eps is in line.
Alcatel CEO just stated in interview early Tuesday that revenue will grow at least 20% in Q1 (est, was for 20-25%)

So, what you have posted is at least in part pure garbage!!!
You are noting else then typical short seller.
But keep talking I still would like to buy back at least of part of my JDSU position I sold shortly before January 31 rate cut.

Regards
Zbyslaw

Cisco has lately pointed repeatedly to the overseas impact, a sign that many analysts said is the networking giant's subtle way of warning them to cut their profit forecasts for the upcoming fiscal third quarter.

Cisco's problems in Europe are its own, not the industry's. Siemsns, in part through Unisphere Networks, is eating their lunch.
