Right, but we're not talking about the Internet itself... those cable signals are being fed through the property of a broadband company and they own that physical property... using property that belongs to another entity is theft just as if you were using any other personal property that belongs to someone else..... there are several separate issues involved there..... unauthorized use of those signals could be regarded as theft, possibly grand theft, that would constitute a 3rd degree felony..... I think it may be wise to investigate the rights an individual may and may not have under those terms before tapping into those signals..... who knows, the company might even be able to claim federal wiretapping violations on an individual... I don't know if this has ever been tested in a courtroom, but I certainly wouldn't want to become the test case.....<g> GZ
