Dale: Maybe we should bring AREM discussion over here since there aren't any other followers [that I know of] on the value thread and they sometimes get testy if one stock dominates the topic.
I wouldn't be shocked if they announced a bit of concern or adjusted forward estimates from 40 to 30%, given that fears of a protracted US slowdown might cause a hotel chain or manufacturing co to put a project on hold. But if you take 1.20 for 01 [below this years low est of 1.25], grow it 25% for 5 years, tack on a 20x PE you get 73.25. Discount that back to present and you get 32 about where it should be based on conservative estimates.
I haven't seen any shred of fundamental evidence that this business is falling apart like the price would indicate.
My only real concern has been a bit of insider selling, but it's natural for them to take some money off the table and diversify - so that's not a deal killer for me.
But, like Paul, I've been wrong before.
