It would be good to revive this thread a bit anyway. Yes, I could see some slowdowns but not enough to drive the 2001 PE much over 10 at the current price. And looking ahead, your target seems very reasonable to me.

I own a bunch of stocks with clear, proven, sustainable earnings and many are getting killed today. So I can only conclude that the market has departed from fundamentals as much now as it did a year ago.

I am fortunate that I don't rely on my portfolio for daily expenses or need to touch my investments for several years. I can afford to buy what looks good on sale and wait for some sanity to prevail.

But that doesn't stop my teeth grinding on days like today. And we are probably in for a tough few weeks here.
