I agree. The question is not whether CSCO will weather the storm, but how well and and for how long. AMAT's downturns have definitely been V shaped and they have come back stronger than ever. Nobody has experience with a CSCO downturn and this uncertainty has been discounted over the last couple of months. Uncertainty creates opportunity and it's refreshing to see CSCO becoming a value stock. I do have concerns about the validity of their earnings--as I mentioned, people have questioned their extensive use of options and goodwill amortization charges.

Just playing devil's advocate, Brian, but have you dug into their balance sheet? Their book value is almost all goodwill from when they exchanged their overpriced stock in acquisitions.
