the ongoing energy crisis is of course very beneficial to the nuclear comeback...imo we'll see more of same, world-wide.
the world is nearing the global Hubbert peak - the point at which the majority of the giant oil fields will have passed peak recovery capacity by virtue of being half empty...nuclear energy will be one way of dealing with this, another will be a war over the remaining giant fields in the Mid East (a few years hence).
