As I said, I do not see a P/E ratio of 8 on CSCO anytime soon unless we are in the middle of an extremely serious recession or depression, so watch out for what you hope for.

CSCO now trades BELOW Coca-Cola on a price to sales basis. I believe it is foolish to focus so much on the E during downturns since E can dry up and disappear; in rough times S is often a better valuation gauge.
