Ausdauer, MMC is currently priced lower than CF, by a large margin. Any comments?

Craig

Handspring Hints at non-Palm OS

visorcentral.com

Handspring has been hinting at using an OS other than Palm for future devices...could be PocketPC?

No firm plans or announcements yet....

Aus,
I see what you are saying, but I have reservations as to the sale-ability of the secure feature of the SDMC. I see the MMC being a hot item with a growing list of uses.

However, with the SDMC, I think the problem is that the secure feature is used, NOT to make the user's data more secure against intrusion from others. But rather the secure feature is used to make data secure and restrict it FROM the very person who pays for the SDMC card. What is wrong with this picture? It is like a consumer buying a lock to keep himself locked out from his own property. As Jerry Sienfeld would say: "Not bloody likely!"

Who wants to pay for someone else's security? Certainly not this little puppy! If I pay for security, I want MY stuff secured from others, not from me!

That's just my 2 cents. (and I'm keeping it with me)

Regards,

Steve
