<<<Moreover, with respect to your citation of the IPCC, I expect that you know that, of the 1,100 scientists (including 385 Americans) who participated, many disagreed with the final report. These 1,100 cannot be cited as "human caused global warming" supporters because they were never asked to approve the written statements of the IPCC >>>

Can you give some indication of how many "disagreed with the final report"? Has there been a minority report with dissenting signatories? I mean, are we talking about six? Sixteen? Sixty? What do they disagree with? The models change, and extrapolations from them change, as new data are gathered, and will.

The fact is, though, that "the consensus in the world's scientific community that the threat of global warming is very real and action is needed immediately" appears to be growing as more data are accumulated.

And if you guys are wrong in your certainty, so very permeated with (realistic, imo) concerns about costs during the impending right wing-administration recession (bad luck, guys!), it will be...

very bad indeed.

Your children and grandchildren will think you were blind, or immoral.

If I'm wrong...

I will have erred on the side of caution in a matter that could not be more vital.

Is how it looks to me.

So I'll stick with the majority of Nobel Laureates.
