"Might a new sector, say energy, take over leadership and push the market higher?" That would make a lot more sense than a bounce back in something like telecom equipment. Having said that, I bought a little JDSU last week, but I expect it to be years before it pays off. I also bought a little bit of Gulf Canada -- those Canadians have a bit of oil I am told :)
