Hi Dolinar, I am now of the opinion that the GE faithful are simply retreating to the last refuge they have, barricaded for war (making profit now, largest in each of GE businesses, etc etc), equipped for withstanding a long siege (stronger than competitors, blah blah), not realizing that the drinking water in the environment has been poisoned by debt, target illuminated by the strong dollar, leadership soon to be removed in palace coup, and most important of all, its customers are not doing well.

I believe the faithful will learn and we will get to watch.

If Daimler and Deutche Telecom can screw up, so can GE. If Lucent can disappear, and Cisco can shrink, so can any one of GE's divisions.
