But, using the PR techniques which have stood it in fine stead for years, it turned the story around by saying it was a breakthrough, when actually it is a delay.

The breakthrough, or delay if you look at the release in this different manner, happened or will happen at its Hillsboro, Oregon facility.

Amusing..... Not True, But Amusing Non The Less. I sent him a note.

Semiconeng and Elmer, check out the Wretchister on this one: they're claiming a delay of 0.13 capability to 2002 because Intel announced 0.13 on 300 mm to be in 2002. Doesn't this "writer" realize Intel plans to do 0.13 on 200 mm first?

I suspect they will correct their article after they get the real story here in SI. It's happened before.

The most important thing to note about that article seems to be that Mike Magee is no long with the Ratingester.uk but has launched the "Inquirer".

Without Mike's dedicated concern for the facts, the old "the Register" seems to have hired Uri Geller as it's new editor.

Finally, an edition of "The National Inquirer", dedicated to the chip industry.

Be still my heart.

Mad Cow Mike Magee was fired from the YUK Wretchedster for obvious reasons - he was too incompetent to even be at the incompetence level of the YUK Wretchedster.

His article on 0.13 micron/300 mm only confirms what an idiot he really is.

Where's the Mad Cow Beef ? - Why - running through the brain arteries of Magee, of course.

Of course, he also has Foot-In-Mouth disease - as is common in the YUK land.
