Maybe the end result is similar, but not the root cause. In 1985, it was Japan, Inc. This year and last, it's Greenspan, Inc. We have nothing to fear but our duly appointed Fed governors themselves. Maybe they'll be satisfied when another country regains the lead on US technology again.
