Dylan Ratigan picks the following stocks on the basis of money flow:

-Money flow uses the Bloomberg terminal to measure investor
sentiment by counting the way a stock is traded during the day; looks at share blocks of 10,000 or more

-If stock trades higher than prevailing market prices, money flow is positive; if lower than prevailing market prices, money flow is considered negative.

AMD:

Semiconductor Sales Slowed for 6th Month in February, SIA Says

San Jose, California, April 3 (Bloomberg) -- Worldwide semiconductor sales growth slowed for a sixth straight month in February as customers continue to work through stockpiles of extra chips, an industry trade group said.

February chip sales reached $15.5 billion, the Semiconductor Industry Association said in a release distributed by Business Wire. That's a 6.9 percent decline from January's $16.6 billion and a 5.8 percent increase from a year earlier.

Chipmakers from Intel Corp. to Texas Instruments Inc. and Motorola Inc. have lowered sales and profit forecasts as orders slump for chips that power cell phones and computers. The fall-off in demand is coming from every region and every semiconductor product category as economic growth slows and clients use up extra inventory, the SIA said.

Revenue in the Americas fell 7.3 percent to $4.75 billion in February from the previous month, the San Jose, California-based group said. European sales slipped 6.3 percent, Japan dropped 6.8 percent and the rest of Asia declined 7.1 percent.

SIA officials couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
