<< Noone here claims AMD is perfect just that it is undervalued relative to its competitor. >>

I agree with thist completely. Hence my owning 15k shares of AMD stock.

<< Intel has failed to meet analysts expectations in FIVE OF THE LAST SIX quarters. AMD is failed ONCE. Click on the Yahoo "Research" link on the two companies and look at actual EPS vs Estimate at the bottom for the past year: >>

Intel is also ripping down a wall of trust they built over 20 years. If you look at their forward multiple it's also shrunken dramatically.

<< OTOH, estimates for AMD were always rising during the quarter (except Q4 with the warning). >>

The estimates were rising because the estimates were so horrid to begin with. If you take Q2 estimates they started out at half of what they had just made in Q1, in Q3 we had a similar story (not nearly as bad as the Q1-Q2 transition though).

<< With regard to product roadmaps, if you aren't used to everything being late from both these companies, you are not living in this universe. >>

Both companies will routinely be late on things they target for 6 months to a year from the current date, but AMD has shown that they can't even accurately predict things happening 1-3 months from the current date.

When do you think AMD will have the following products out: Palomino (laptop/desktop), Morgan (laptop/desktop), SMP chips/infrastructure, .13 Fab space, Hammer series?

Their guidance is irrelevent because if the product is more then 3 months late, AMD's estimates are often off by over 100%.
