The SPX didn't make the reverse head and shoulder pattern... bigcharts.com Today's DELL news is encouraging for the beaten down techs who are up against lowered earnings estimates as was DELL... I bought some LU yesterday... I think the worst is over for the long term... bigcharts.com There is a gap in the 7.00 area that presents another buying option for people with a long term horizon... The SPX needs to close above the 1150 area soon... The Nasdaq needs to go above the 1800 area soon... There is a lot of short covering... This takes the pressure off the margin calls, at least for today... : > Jim
