Justa: You forgot to say "and the November - April period is supposed to be seasonally strong.

With all the equity selling lately, I'd think bond prices would be rising (rates falling). Instead, long bond rates have risen during the recent debacle days. Do you think Japanese sales of their U.S. bond investments are starting to more than offset the effect of U.S. Government purchases of public debt with the surplus and flight money pooring into bonds ?

Great to see your words again. Keep em coming!

Now if we could just get Don Lane back here with some words of wisdom about his "around trip" other heady matters, we could celebrate the good old days. You'd think he'd be sensitized by now with all the bashing he's taken.

I can't think of a good reason to make any large purchases now, when it looks like tomorrow will bring better (cheaper) prices. Nevertheless, I could see starting to dollar-cost average small amounts into QQQ. Small amounts.
