Hi Mark, INTC arrived on my PIC list on 2/16/2001.
Subject 51041

It's rapidly approaching the "Everybody hates me!" category.

Mark,

I am aggressively acquiring INTC for both AIM and income purposes (covered calls on AIM inventory). I just began my AIM program after sitting on my hands for a very long time.

With the market in this shape and the price of some very good issues it was hard to sit out much longer. I would like to see INTC move up BUT, if it does not I'll buy more. I'll write more Calls as long as I have enough to sell on the next AIM signal.

It's trading history was a prime reason to begin acquiring this issue. I may joke around a lot but I'm learning a lot from this group.

Mark,

Just ran across this article on INTC dated yesterday. Looks as though Intel's biz model is a changing a bit. Could be some of the unrest we see in the price.

In the long term INTC will prevail. Marketing is the key to sales and INTC is the best at it in their sector. Taking on inventory and its associated risks is something Intel has never done before though. The market will make them prove themselves you can count on it.

Price wars with AMD have always taken a toll on profits. Intel plays in a much bigger market than AMD. While focus has been on desktop chip sets by the analysts, INTC's revenues unlike AMD's are not solely based on the desktop CPU market. The market will see this as it has in the past.

I believe its a great AIM candidate.
