When I was into reading about the Depression - began with Galbraith's book, of course - I really enjoyed going to the main library and digging out the contemporary stuff in magazines like the SatEvePost. I seem to recall that LeFevre, who wrote "Reminiscenses of a Stock Operator", had a few fine articles about banks continuing to sell into the decline and such. Memory fades and erodes the details now, but I do remember that it was very interesting. R
