you're citing cultural differences not moral ones.

NO. I am talking about moral differences. But because most moral differences of any substance will usually exist in different groups--one will always be able to ignore this fact. Where notable differences in belief exist among people, they load their wagons and they move on to a situation where they do have control, and where they may exercise authority over the moral behaviour of their community, and over the raising of their children in accordance with those standards. For instance, you could say that the Mennonites, or the Mormons, or the Amish do not have their own unique moral codebook, but the truth is that they do. The reason they set out to find independence was because their ideas of morality were not reflected in the society from which they emigrated.

Naturally, different ideas of right and wrong will result in different cultural mores. For instance, the Quakers believed that going to war was immoral. Most people do not believe that it is always immoral. The Quakers have entirely different ideas of right and wrong. Their ideas of morality are justified by a religious belief and interpretation rather than by reason per se, but that is not relevent to these points. Morality is different all over the world, although human similarities keep most societies in the same ballpark. Moral differences are so notable that they will always stand out as a cultural differences as well. The trick is to recognize what different groups consider to be RIGHT and WRONG. This is the moral difference.
