Kevin, The Nazi's were having a real problem coming up with the heavy water needed for the construction of the A-bomb. The OSS is credited with discovering the testing going on at Penemunde (sp?), and calling in the air strike that took it out of commission. All of it was a military operation, and no President can honestly take credit for it. I believe I mentioned the fact that HST was a democrat, but would bet dollars to doughnuts that he would be a Republican if he were in politics today. He said "the buck stops here." No liberal would be caught dead saying that.
