The Chinese are playing games and so is the US. Get the crew back -- appologize if needed -- and then give the Chinese the finger afterwards to salve the wounded pride of the Bush boys.

Windsock, I agree....we are not going to war over this incident. So lets apologize and get those people back. While I think the Chinese are smart enough not to screw with American military in such a public arena, why risk it?

I'd say you have it backwards. The US plane is trying to observe the Chinese and then the Chinese buzzed the plane in international waters. They got too close and then accidently hit.

As a pilot I can tell you the slower, less manuverable aircraft has the right of way. So tell me, which plane had the right of way?
