except that I never fit into the cool crowd the way you did. Yeah, I was the only cheerleader ever at my college who wasn't in a sorority. Imagine that, if you can. none of us kids had any realization that this was anything other than totally normal. I'll bet reality was a shocker. But what do we do about it? Beats the hell out of me. (Remember when that expression was in vogue?) Listen actively and encourage others to learn to do that, perhaps. Speak up and don't just let things ride, maybe. Don't give money to either major political party, definitely. Karen
