Dan3:

"and $115 for Dresden Athlons."

Dresden product output has been at 1 gig or better since the onset of Q1 when 1 gig pricing was in the $300 range compared to the current $100 range with 1.33's currently at $200...Just don't see Dresden ASP below $150, conservatively, in this scenario...

niceguy,

I think Dan's $115 for Dresden Athlons is indeed very low. And as far as Austin Athlons, I think the number will be extremely low.

What I wonder about is if there is and AXIA stepping equivalent available for Austin process. If this stepping provided about the same increase in clock speeds (with some 900 to 1.13 bin splits), it would be an excellent news for AMD, since the demand for Athlons has been exceeding the demand for Duron, and also, 900 - 1.13 GHz Athlon would have have an ASP of some $80 to $90, vs. $50 or so for Duron.
