Good point, but they have been showing signs of wanting to dump their commodity flash and concentrating on StrataFlash, as you note.

Our use concentrates on power consumption and that puts us in the AMD camp. For lots of reasons Intel's offerings in flash and now processors puts them in the "zero margin" end of the market...

They claim that they will offer the entire range of temp only sometime late next year.

That's interesting. So effectively what AMD has done is cut off a lot of the market INTC is wanting to move into, by agreeing with the big boys the 2 or 3 year contracts.

That'll leave INTC with the crumbs, and make it a less tempting proposition to move into AMD space. Pretty smart move on AMD's part I think.
