Hi Bernard, The European 3G auctions raised over $500/POP for twenty years worth of 15MHz at 2.1GHz. The US UHF auctions (channels 52-83) should raise more for ten years use, because of better inbuilding penetration. My $500/POP for 200MHz in MMDS is in the context of also auctioning the upper UHF bands for mobile and fixed. There is lots of spectrum whose services should be delivered in packets, rather than TDM. This change in spectrum allocation is the biggest challenge to the ITU-R (satellite boys) and the FCC. petere
