Pravin:

Thanks for the "filler" on Maria...Second hand info can be a dangerous commodity!!!

"On a different note, I sure hope that Intel gets back up to $27, so I can short it again. I sold my Intel puts yesterday (that I bought for $1) for as much as $5 each. Sure would like to do that again. Intel is supposed to announce the 1.7Ghz P4 on 4/15. That should push Intel up on the 16th. Puts bought on the 16th and sold when Intel crashes on the 18th could yield large short term gains. The wild card is Cisco, and when they announce that they will not be meeting lowered guidance"

Fabulous background scenario for investing over the next 2 weeks..Thanks!!!

Pravin, >>On a different note, I sure hope that Intel gets back up to $27, so I can short it again.

You will probably get it with tomorrow' upgrade call, when stocks go up, analysts will upgrade and vice versa, we might see herd? of penguins tomorrow.

I agree that Intel at 27 would be a tempting short, but what makes you so sure it will tank right after earnings? Intel spin control is notoriously excellent and even then, a crash expectation might be built in...
