John, I do not want to talk too much about Taiwan. It is really an internal affair of China. Whether the US likes it or not, this problem will be eventually solved, either peacefully, or by force, and that all depends on what the current Taiwanese government does. I think the most the US will do is to sell more and more advanced arms to Taiwan. It will never send US soldiers on this matter. As for the business and culture exchange between the Taiwan and mainland, I think there are plenty going on right now. As long as the Taiwanese government does not declare independence, problem can be solved peacefully.
