Here's what's amazing about this situation. We are supposed to apologize because one of their fighter jocks caught a chinese version of Top Gun and thought he was Tom Cruise. Or, is it because the Chinese government is keeping 24 of our military personnel hostage? These Chinese leaders are idiots. Before very long, the nations public opinion is going to massively turn against them. And with an 88 billion dollar trade surplus in their favor, they have far more to lose then we do. How many Americans do you figure are already going to start looking at the bottom of their tennis shoes and avoid "Made in China"? Without American hard currency, their economy will collapse. Our economy will suffer too, but far less. How about that market close? Wow!! Dell sure exploded the market today.

BUSH's Reagan Moment: "LET MY PEOPLE GO" ultimatum of 72 hours-crew home for Sunday Church services (more like Charleton Heston)...this will shore up the religious right, the anti-communist capitalists free enterprise Cold War Freedom WARRIORS like me, and if not, then BUSH must use his Presidential power to halt IMPORTS and strategic exports to China and request Congress revoke the PNTR Permanent Normalized Trade Relations permanent most favored nation trade status for China and entry into the WTO World Trade Organization. Also, use our Latin American diplomatic delegations to follow up the President of Commnist China now there, and let the message be clear that the US does not appreciate Communist China interefering in the diplomatic and military procurement relationships America has with its allies and neighbors in Latin America, and then swiftly give Taiwan a blank check for more than the AEGIS naval missile defense system they are willing to pay TOP DOLLAR for, despite what happens this system must be given to the Freedom loving Taiwanese Republic of China ROC so that they can defend themselves against the most evil empire to ever have existed on planet earth for over 5,000 years.
