Niceguy, I think Intel is using Dell and their box price war as a tool to punish those box makers that have supported AMD. They are gambling that people will continue to buy Dell if they offer Intel boxes cheaper than others can offer AMD boxes. The problem is that this strategy rests solely on "Intel Inside" loyalty, and is undermined by AMD having a better product that Dell can not offer at any price. This blows up in their faces as AMD gains market share and Dell can never raise their prices. Pravin.
