G,
My gut feeling is like yours. Rally needs more news to continue. But if we are both bearish market is likely to go up. All we need now is Advocate D to turn bullish and we are home free. mike

PS Are you sure you are not going sailing today? Market responds well when the Gman is on the water.

OT - Gottfried's quote of the day: "On 'saving face': it is an unfortunate reality that serves to perpetuate wrongheaded behavior and closes off opportunities for improvement"

Well said.

(BTW, I've added you to my list of leading indicators. Let me know next time your thinking of heading out to Angel or the Brothers. <g>)

Trader friend said expect volatility at the close. Bets will be placed. I believe that once employment numbers are really understood, whether AG cuts or not intermeeting, dramatically lower interest rates are on the way. Will the market understant this today? Monday? I dont know. We are clearly moving into a real recession, next step depression if rates/taxes not reduced. Cisco is trading like citibank did in early 90's as if they will fail. Look at a chart of citibank and watch cisco emulate that move over 10 years. 40 fold increase for citibank over 10 years. Takes cisco to 520.
