Just got a call from a contact at First Union who told me that 60% of the brokers in his office have left the business in the last 3 weeks. One guy who usually ran a $50 million book left when he was down to $2 million....
His tone was very "burnt out" sounding.
He thinks the DOW will sink into 8000

Looks like selling my longs a little early yesterday is paying dividends...
